Established in 2023, Peret Uganda Limited aims at promoting trade and cooperation between Ugandan and Egyptian companies. Our work focuses on building the capacities, facilitating cooperation, building linkages and facilitating networks that foster trade and cooperation between the two countries.
The Egyptian government has developed an ambitious industrialization strategy targeting Uganda and other African markets, especially in manufacturing, agriculture and infrastructure sectors. In 2023, Uganda Imports from Egypt were estimated at US$105.99 Million according to the United Nations COMTRADE database on international trade.
We are the building blocks for a successful collaboration between Egyptian and Ugandan companies. Our services are based upon the fact that both Uganda and Egypt have established free zones and are members of the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA) Free Trade Area (FTA), which has facilitated trade between the two countries.

To build the capacities of local Ugandan enterprises in promoting exports to Egypt and in taking advantage of the opportunities for business growth that the free trade area presents.
For Egyptian Companies
To support Egyptian companies in understanding the business market in Uganda, facilitating their investments and business growth in Uganda. Peret also offers personnel recruitment and management services to Egyptian companies in Uganda.
